Wandern is a traditional Marzen-style lager: a 5.8% copper-colored lager with a medium body, characterized by it’s malty, slightly caramel taste with a bready, crisp finish. Perfect for the transition into these cool, fall days.
Brewed with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, this hazy double IPA is mandarin orange and tropical fruit forward with a touch of pine. It has an extra soft, pillowy mouthfeel making this beer go down easy but still creep in at 8%.
This is the first in our house scratch series of beers where we experiment with different styles and techniques. This beer has been converted to an imperial version of the clean lager-like amber altbier. It’s brewed in the Dusseldorf style which means a more assertive bitterness. The flavor and aroma are malty and full of caramel and biscuit with a small amount of toastiness.
Our Big Stream Kolsch inspired ale has been liberally dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin to elevate the hop character the tropical pale ale realm. The medium-low body and juicy profile are highlighted by pineapple and papaya fruitiness and undercut by a light piney-ness. The flavor profile is still delicately grainy and finishes with a pine bitterness and slight dry tang.
This juicy IPA is another variation in our line of hazy and hoppy offerings. The aroma is a blend of clementine and mandarin orange with distinct orange juice like flavor. The citrus pith bitterness cuts through the sweetness and delivers an balanced and dry finish with a graininess on the backend. As always, the soft mouthfeel, the fresh flavor, and clean finish makes this IPA an all day drinker.
Our popular Cocoa Bean Stout aged for 11 months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels resulting in straight Bourbon Candy! Strong sweet bourbon flavors dominate with hints of chocolate, vanilla, and nuttiness on the finish. This wonderful experiment was to understand the affects of barrel aging a small ABV stout. There is a slight booziness from the bourbon and extra alcohol picked up during the barrel aging process.
9ten was brewed in collaboration with our friends at Yellow Bridge Brewing Co. and is lightly dry hopped with Motueka and Waimea. Aroma and flavor is fruity with distinct hints of lime and spice. This is a light bodied session strength saison meant to be enjoyed with warm weather.
Strong freshly opened bag of hops aroma. Flavor is distinctly tangerine with hints of melon. Like all of our hazy hoppy beers, Moon Cannon is soft and finishes very bright. This beer is refreshing and extremely drinkable!
This double IPA is hazy and smooth with a medium body. Aroma is tropical – guava, papaya, citrus and juicy fruit gum. Flavor is more tropical fruits and citrus. The slightly sweet finish and very low bitterness add to the fruit juice character. At 8.5% ABV, this DIPA is deceptively drinkable.
